Emergen-Zzzz

I received free samples of Emergen-Zzzz from Smiley360 to try and give my honest review. Normally I like Emergen-C products, but I don't like their Emergen-Zzzz. I tried both flavors that was sent in my packet, but both of them had an awful taste that I just couldn't get past. I did my best to drink enough of the berry, which is much better then the peach, to give Emergen-Zzzz a chance to help me sleep. It did make me a little sleepy and I was able to fall asleep a little easier then normal, but I think it would have worked much better if I was able to drink the whole thing. Overall I think this would be a great product if they had better tasting flavors.

Welch’s Refreshingly Simple

I was very excited to receive a free bottle of Welch's Refreshingly Simple from BzzAgent! What's not to like about a drink that tastes good and has no artificial sweeteners, preservatives, artificial flavors or high fructose corn syrup? When I got the bottle of juice in the mail, my kids were so excited because we'd run out of apple juice the day before and the had been asking for juice all day. I poured each of my kids a glass and they all downed a half cup in seconds and was begging for more. My kids love apple juice more then any other drink and they choose Welch's Refreshingly Simple every single time! I tried the Passion Fruit and I really enjoyed it, but it did have a bit of a cranberry after taste to it that I wasn't very fond of. I'm looking forward to trying their other flavors to see how I like them and to have more juice on hand for my kids. I'm more then happy to serve Welch's Refreshingly Simple to my kids since it's so much better for them then the other juices out there.

Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancer

 I wasn't expecting to dislike Folgers Flavors so much. I put in the recommended amount of Folgers Flavors, but my coffee was really bitter. I figured it was just that I hadn't added enough flavoring, but the more I added the worse it tasted. Black coffee would have been better tasting and less bitter. Very disappointed! Secret Outlast Deodorant

I love how Secret Outlast doesn't leave any white marks on my clothes, even my black shirts. I was curious to see if it would or not, so I put some of it directly onto one of my black shirts, and there wasn't even a faint mark left behind. This deodorant has kept me much dryer then most that I have tried in the past, but you just have to make sure it dries completely first. When I get out of the shower and put it on it takes forever to dry. Also because of the heat here combined with the humidity from my shower, when I put it on if feels like I'm sweating already and feels pretty gross until it's able to dry. I would wait to put it on later after my shower, but I would have to remove my shirt and stand around flapping my arms until it dries. Either way I still feel ridiculous flapping my arms around like a bird trying to get it to dry. AVEENO® PROTECT + HYDRATE LOTION is a broad spectrum SPF 30 sunscreen and lotion in one. It goes on smooth and easily rubs into my skin leaving no white streaks. My skin feels very soft, both while I'm using it and after, and the best part is, it doesn't leave that greasy feeling like most sunscreens do.It does an amazing job of keeping my kids and I from getting sunburned. It's great to take with you to use for a day out at the zoo or on the beach. The only thing I don't like about this sunscreen is the sent, it smells kind of floral to me and just don't enjoy floral scents.

AVEENO® SHEER HYDRATION DAILY MOISTURIZING LOTION is so much better then most moisturizers that I've used in the past. First of all, it goes on without leaving my skin with that greasy feeling until it wears off like others I've used. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated, smooth, and soft. Aveeno very quickly got rid of my dry skin, I highly recommend it.

SweeTARTS Soft & Chewy Ropes are the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. My son and I don't usually like things that have a bit of a sour taste to them, but these were just enough to not be overwhelming. They are a great texture too, with licorice rope on the outside and a soft candy filling. My whole family loves them! They taste amazing, and best of all they have no artificial flavors or colors. I liked them so much, I went to the store and bought several more packages for my family to share. I highly recommend trying these sweet treats for yourself. You can find these sweet treats in the front of the store, along the check out stands at Walmart.

Dessange Paris USA Hair Care Products

I love these hair products! My hair is shinny, smooth, they make my hair look and feel amazing. I had been losing a lot of hair since I had my daughter almost a year and a half ago. Since I started using the Dessange Paris products, I've noticed my hair has stopped falling out, that has been the biggest bonus in switching from my old shampoo and conditioner.

The shampoo has a really nice lather to it, is very easy to apply to my hair, and rinses out well. The conditioner on the other hand, is very difficult to spread through my hair, and I need to use twice as much as I would normally use just to barely cover all of my hair. After my shower I apply 2-3 pumps of oil to damp hair, then style as I normally would. It helps to cut back on frizz and oddly enough doesn't make your hair look oily. I have oily hair already and was very shocked when adding the oil helped instead of added to the oily look of my hair. The worst part about these products is the smell. They smell like old lady perfume and it's very overwhelming while I'm in the shower.

Overall I love these products, just not the smell, and I will continue to buy them. It's worth it to continue getting the results I've seen.



             

Quaker® Popped rice crisps

These Quaker Popped rice crisps were so much better then I was expecting! When I received these in my Bzzkit from BzzAgent, I was expecting them to taste a little like cardboard with some flavored powder sprinkled on them. Boy was I wrong! I loved them! They tasted like popcorn without all the kernels (which is why I don't eat popcorn) light and airy with so much flavor. My girls and I ate a whole bag within about 10 minutes of opening it. Inside my complementary Bzzkit I received 5 bags of Quaker Popped rice crisps in 3 different flavors; Cheddar Cheese, Sour Cream & Onion, and Caramel Corn. Our favorite was the Cheddar Cheese, between my girls and I, that bag didn't last long. I will be buying the Cheddar Cheese flavor again, I was so sad when the bag was empty. Our second favorite was the Sour Cream & Onion. It tasted just like regular Sour Cream & Onion chips, but with a popcorn texture. We really liked it, but I don't know if we will buy another bag of that flavor or not. The last one was the Caramel Corn. I did not like it at all, it was way too sweet for me. I'm not a fan or the caramel flavor in general, but these seemed to be quite a bit sweeter then other products of the same flavor that I have tried in the past. My girls enjoyed the Caramel Corn, but they were not nearly as eager to eat them as they had with the previous two flavors. Overall we loved Quaker Popped rice crisps, but we won't be buying the Caramel flavor in the future.

I gave my son Mucinex Multi-Symptom Cold when he was sick with a cold. He was coughing, congested, had a runny nose, and was overall miserable. My son said the Children's Mucinex made it so much easier for him to breath at night, it didn't entirely stop his cough, but it got rid of it enough so he could sleep. My son also took some every morning before school while he was sick, it never made him feel tired or sluggish. He said the only thing he didn't like about it is the taste of the cough syrup, although he did seem to get used to the taste of it and didn't mind taking it by the time his cold was over. Children's Mucinex Multi-Symptom Cold worked very well for my son. We will be buying it again for the next time he gets sick and I do recommend it for others.

  Truly Radiant Deep Clean Manual Toothbrush

This toothbrush works a little better then a basic toothbrush because the top portion is suppose to spin while you brush you teeth with out the use of batteries, just the movement of your brushing. I didn't notice the top portion spinning as much as I was expecting it to spin, but it did move a little bit. The tongue cleaner on the back of the brush is nice. A big part that I didn't like about this toothbrush is that the tip of the toothbrush is wider instead of narrower, which makes it hard to clean the teeth in the very back of my mouth.

         
                                                   

 Truly Radiant Rejuvenating Toothpaste

The tooth paste has kind of an overwhelming mint flavor at first, but I have started to get use to it a little more since I started using it. Unfortunately the toothpaste is too harsh for my mouth and gums and causes a thin layer of skin to peel off after each time I use it, resulting in a white gooey/stringy stuff in my mouth within 20 minutes of brushing. Yuck!


                           

Whitening & Strengthening Fluoride Rinse

This mouth rinse is great! It doesn't burn your mouth and it leaves you 
with a clean fresh feeling mouth without a nasty after taste. My only 
dislike about this mouth rinse is that it foams up a little too much for
me and makes it hard to swish it around my mouth.

I received the #FrostyVoxBox from #Influenster with a bunch of great complementary goodies inside for me to test out and review. Here is a short review of each product starting with my favorite and ending with my least favorite:

 NYC New York Color Expert Last Lip Color in Sugar Plum. It is such a great color, very smooth and easy to apply. A big plus for me with this lipstick is that it doesn't have that typical lipstick smell, instead I think it smells kind of like very faint holiday spice.

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced. A little bit goes a long way with this product and it makes your skin feel amazing. After using it just once my skin was softer and more hydrated.

McCormick Gourmet All Natural Thyme. McCormick is a well know spice company and I have used their spices for years. Their all natural thyme went great on my crock pot chicken as well as many other recipes.


Fruit Vines Bites Strawberry. A sweet and chewy candy in bite size pieces. I enjoyed them in small amounts, but my kids wanted to eat the whole bag in one sitting.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. This eyeliner is very creamy, goes on very easy, and looks great. My biggest problem with it is that unless you can get it to dry completely, it will be every where. It doesn't work well and will smear all day if you have oily eyelids, live in a high humid area, or if you use a cream eye shadow. I did get it to dry completely once and it stayed on all day long and looked amazing.

EcoTools Styler + Smoother. I really like this brush while I'm blow drying my hair, because it allows more air to pass through the vents in the brush. However when I used it to brush my hair while it was dry, it seemed to do more damage to my hair then detangling it.

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Decaf Green Tea. I don't really think there was anything wrong with the tea; I've just never liked tea, but I did appreciate the chance to maybe expand my pallet.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover. . I attempted to remove the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. After scrubbing my eyes for several minutes and barely smudging the eyeliner, my eyes were bright red and my eyeliner was still there. The only thing their claim did live up to is that the makeup remover does not have much of an oily residue.

Overall this was a great VoxBox! Thank you so much to #Influenster and all the companies that participated for allowing me to try all these great products! 

No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serums

I received this product sample free from Influenster in my #FrostyVoxBox #GetADVANCED

Boots No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serums claim that it will reveal younger looking, beautifully refined skin with this powerful blend of caring and skin restoring ingredients. Light and non-greasy, it glides on instantly softening and smoothing your skin.

The sample I received in my FrostyVoxBox was a 0.1 oz sample. I was only able to make the serum stretch for 5 days, and the package says it takes 2-4 weeks to notice results. I wasn't able to use it long enough to find out if it will really make the skin look younger or help get rid of wrinkles. On the other hand it is very light, non-greasy, it made my skin feel amazing, and so soft. A little bit goes a long way, so a full size bottle would last a long time. This is something I would consider buying in the future, if only just for the great way it made my skin feel.

Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea

I tried a cup of Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane Green Tea, unfortunately tea is just not my thing. I even tried to add milk to it like the packaging suggested, but I still didn't like it. I don't think there was anything wrong with the tea; I've just never liked tea but I did appreciate the chance to maybe expand my pallet.

This is Celestial Seasonings description of this tea; This delectable holiday blend starts with naturally decaffeinated green tea and adds unmistakable seasonal flavors like cool peppermint, creamy vanilla and a dash of cinnamon.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner and Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

First off let me say that I received both of these products free for testing purposes from Influenster in my #FrostyVoxBox.


Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner glides on very creamy and smooth. It's easy to apply and looks great! When I wear this eyeliner with just mascara it stays great and never smudges, but when I paired it with a cream eye shadow, the eyeliner was all over the place. I went out to a holiday dinner party with my husbands work and by the time we got home 3 hours later, my eyeliner was mixed in with my cream eye shadow and I had black all around my eyes. I kind of looked like a racoon. I couldn't believe that a waterproof eyeliner would smear so much. Next time I need to either let it dry much longer before using a cream shadow and hope it doesn't smear or only use it with a powder eye shadow. Overall I really like how easy the eyeliner is to use and as long as it was not used with a cream eye shadow it stayed on great. I'm unsure at this point if I would buy it on my own or not, but I will use it for a while longer and give it some more time.

Rimmel Gentle Eye Makeup Remover claims it gently removes all eye makeup, including long lasting and waterproof makeup, with no oily residue. Unfortunately it does NOT live up to its claim. I attempted to remove the Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Kajal Eyeliner. After scrubbing my eyes for several minutes and barely smudging the eyeliner, my eyes were bright red and my eyeliner was still there. The only thing their claim did live up to is that the makeup remover does not have much of an oily residue. Overall I would never buy this makeup remover and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
